I was born near St. Leonard, Quebec and moved to Brampton with my parents and 3 siblings when I was 13. I worked part time for the City of Brampton and then full time for 4 years and then as a realtor for 10 years. As a real estate agent, I learned the value of customer service, but I realized that buying and selling homes wasn’t my passion; helping people was.

I earned my mutual fund and insurance broker licenses and worked as a financial advisor at Money Concepts for 3 years and loved it. In 2000 I ventured out on my own as CSR Wealth Management, working as an independent financial advisor and I’ve never looked back. My work brings me great joy, as I love to help people in good times and to support them through difficult times. I love what I do!

My wife Karlene and I live in Brampton and have 3 beautiful daughters, Cassandra, Samantha and Rebecka and now two grandchildren, Wesley and Riley, who bring us so much joy. When I can, I love to fish, golf, garden and cook, but my all-time favourite pastime is being Papa.

The CSR in my business name stands for Compassion, Service and Reliability. These are the key values I have built my business on and my clients should never expect anything less. It’s no coincidence that the first initial of my three daughters’ names - Cassandra, Samantha and Rebecka – are also C, S and R.

Having a partner that you can trust to help navigate your finances and investments is critical to the success of your retirement and life goals. While there are plenty of financial institutions that can serve you, few will offer the personal touch and level of exceptional service that I will.

Here are some of the things my clients say they value most about me as their financial advisor:

Home or virtual visit

My clients love that I meet them in the comfort of their own home or virtually, day or evening, making it easier for them to fit financial planning into their busy schedule. (Bonus: no babysitter required!)

After hours service

There have been many times over the years that I have taken calls very early or very late at night from distraught clients looking for guidance. When my phone rings at that time of day, I know my clients really need me and they know I'll always answer.

Big picture lens

I take the time to get to know my clients and their extended family because in many cases, the financial wellbeing of a parent, grandparent or young adult child has impacted my own clients, both emotionally and financially. As I see it, anticipating and managing these outside concerns and ultimately providing financial peace of mind for my clients, is part of my job.

Your best interests in mind

My business is independent and I do not have an exclusive commitment to any one investment or insurance partner. This means I will always be able to suggest the best investment and life insurance options for you.

Technology

My clients love having online access to their portfolio so that they can view and download statements or tax documents when they want to. I also provide a secure platform exclusively for my clients, to store valuable documents like a will, power of attorney, notice of assessment and other sensitive documents.

Communication

I keep my clients up to date with the latest personal finance news and reminders like RRSP or TFSA deadlines so that they can stay up to date without much effort on their part.
